Living in the idyllic Kiefernweg

In Kiefernweg 46-50a, 28 residential units with 2- to 4-room apartments are located directly adjacent to the Twedter Feld nature reserve. The beach of the “Flensburger Solitüde”, the nature reserve Twedter Feld, as well as the Twedter Plack, with all shopping facilities for daily life, are in the direct vicinity. Our tenants live centrally and at the same time in the green idyll of the district Mürwik.

The former barracks building from 1963 captivates with its clinker brick construction, the beautiful location and the bright and well cut 28 residential units. The special location of the property with its central, yet quiet location was the reason why we decided to expand our residential units at Twedter Feld from 43 to 71 apartments in 2023

The building has been continuously maintained and first measures have already been carried out for energy rehabilitation. For example, the heating pipes as well as the roof were comprehensively insulated. We do not want to stop here. In the coming years, we will prepare an energy-saving concept to make the property energy-independent and at the same time more progressive for the future. In addition to a high energy efficiency standard, E-mobility infrastructure and photovoltaic tenant electricity will be created. The visual appearance will be upgraded and sound insulation improved.

Situated only a matter of kilometres from the Danish border, Flensburg is Gemany’s most northerly city. Amongst fans of watersports, the Flensburg fjord is especially well known as one of the most beautiful sailing areas in Germany. At the opening of the fjord, one reaches the so-called “Danish South Sea”; a sailing paradise that is characterised by its numerous small islands.

The vitality of Flensburg – whose university and technical college attract many young people – can be clearly seen in its cultural life: Theatre, cabaret, many cultural events involving the history of Flensburg – court culture, harbour festivals, and the lively restaurant and pub scene all mark Flensburg out.

MÜRWIK is a part of the city with excellent infrastructure. On the ‚Twedter Plack’ town square, the central point of Murwik, all the shops required for one’s daily needs are to be found: various supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, a florist, a shoe shop, a drugstore, banks, the savings bank etc. You will also find wide-ranging medical provision, with various specialist doctors, physiotherapy, a pharmacy. The ‚Twedter Plack’ can be reached from the apartment complex within 5 to 10 minutes.
